Orlando, FL — In a shocking display of snack-related violence, a Florida woman allegedly decided that a Pringles can wasn’t just for holding delicious, stackable crisps—it was also the perfect tool for settling a dispute in the most Florida way possible.

According to authorities, 28-year-old Shanika Serdahl was arrested after she allegedly used a Pringles can to open a man’s face at a 7-Eleven on International Drive. The victim, Martin Milburn, reportedly asked Serdahl if she knew another customer outside—a seemingly harmless question that, in Florida, can apparently trigger a full-on snack attack.

Witnesses say Serdahl called Milburn a few choice words before delivering a crunchy blow to his eyebrow and cheek with the can, leaving him bleeding and likely questioning his life choices. Deputies noted the injuries were severe enough to leave permanent disfigurement, proving that Pringles cans are, in fact, dangerously aerodynamic.

When confronted by police, Serdahl allegedly claimed Milburn was being “rude and disrespectful,” which, in Florida, is a capital offense punishable by snack-based assault. The victim, meanwhile, insisted he was just trying to buy a drink and not get whacked with processed potato products.

The Pringles can was recovered as evidence, though it’s unclear if any chips survived the incident.

This is Florida, folks—where even your snacks can turn on you.

(No Pringles were harmed in the making of this crime. Probably.)
