KEY LARGO, FL — Just when you thought Florida couldn’t out-Florida itself, a missing woman was found dead in a resort crawl space… after other guests had already spent the night in the same room, blissfully unaware they were bunking with a corpse.

The Plot Thickens (Because Florida)

The whole nightmare started when 43-year-old Nadyne Marie Tillman was reported missing by her family. Authorities tracked her last known location to the Amoray Dive Resort (ironic name, considering the lack of love in this situation).

But here’s where it gets extra Florida:

  • Suspect Dylan Lamb, a 33-year-old kayak tour guide (because, of course he was), had been staying in the room where Tillman’s body was later found.
  • When hotel staff asked him to leave so new guests could check in, he allegedly refused—because nothing says “totally normal behavior” like refusing to vacate a crime scene.
  • After he finally checked out, staff reportedly found bloody sheets and towels stuffed into yard waste bags (classy), and instead of calling the cops, they just threw them away. (“Housekeeping priorities, am I right?”)

The Unluckiest Guests in Florida History

The new guests checked in, spent the night, and left the next morning—completely unaware they’d been sharing a room with a dead body in the AC closet.

(“Honey, why does it smell like regret and a crime scene in here?”)

It wasn’t until Tillman’s heartbroken daughter came knocking on doors that the grim discovery was made. Police found Tillman’s body with injuries “consistent with being beaten,” and Lamb was later arrested at his job (because even alleged killers gotta clock in).

Florida’s Greatest Hits

  • Suspect’s Job: Kayak tour guide (“Scenic murders, anyone?”)
  • Hotel Staff Reaction: “Bloody sheets? Eh, trash day is Tuesday.”
  • Guests’ Experience: Paid for a resort stay, got a real-life horror movie instead.

Lamb now faces charges including homicide, kidnapping, and destroying evidence—because nothing says “I’m innocent” like stuffing bloody linens into a garbage bag and ghosting.

Meanwhile, the resort guests are probably still trying to scrub the “I slept next to a corpse” energy out of their souls.
