DELRAY BEACH, FL— Another day, another Florida Man story that makes you question every life choice that led you to this moment. This time, a Delray Beach dude learned the hard way that not all sunshine in Florida comes with good vibes—sometimes it comes with a side of felony theft.

Meet Bernard Marshall, a man who just wanted to have a good time at Honey Restaurant and Nightclub. You know, the usual—drinks, dancing, maybe a little flirting. But Bernard’s night took a sharp left turn when two women approached him and his friend. One of them, later identified as Sherena Sunshine Wilson (because of course her middle name is Sunshine), decided to take the party back to Bernard’s place.

Now, Bernard might’ve thought he was about to have a very memorable evening. And he was right—just not in the way he expected.

Sherena, ever the gracious hostess (or so he thought), offered to make them drinks. Bernard, being a trusting soul, accepted. But then he noticed something… off. His drink looked “cloudier” than hers. Now, most people would’ve immediately noped out of that situation, but Bernard? Nah. He powered through like a true Florida Man.

Big mistake.

Next thing he knew, he woke up with a sore throat (classic sign of a great night, right?) and a very light wrist—his $17,000 Rolex had pulled a disappearing act.

But don’t worry, Bernard’s Ring camera caught the whole thing. Because in Florida, even crime comes with HD evidence. The footage showed Sherena arriving with him around 1:49 a.m., then dipping out solo an hour later—quietly shutting the door before sprinting off like she just remembered she left the oven on.

Police later confirmed that Bernard’s drink was spiked with Quetiapine, an antipsychotic that definitely wasn’t on the night’s menu. And thanks to the magic of facial recognition (and the fact that Sherena left her fingerprints all over the place like she was signing a yearbook), she was quickly identified and arrested.

Now, Sherena faces charges of grand theft and violating Florida’s Anti-Tampering Act—because nothing says “Florida crime” like a law called the Anti-Tampering Act.

Moral of the story? If a woman named Sunshine offers you a cloudy drink, maybe just… don’t. And if you’re gonna wear a $17K Rolex in Florida, maybe also invest in a drink-testing kit. Just saying.
