Billionaire Televangelist’s Florida Condo Sale Has Us Asking: “Blessed Water” or Just Holy Markup?

Sunny Isles Beach, FL—When your condo comes with its own car elevator but you still can’t escape the IRS, you know you’ve reached peak Florida Man status.

Brazilian televangelist Edir Macedo, founder of the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God (and apparently also the Universal Church of Really Nice Real Estate), just slashed the price on his Porsche Design Tower condo from “absurd” to “only slightly less absurd” at a cool $14.6 million.

Holy High Roller

Macedo, whose net worth makes Kim Kardashian look like a thrift-store shopper ($1.8 billion vs. her measly $1.7 billion), owns not one but two luxury Florida condos. The second one? A casual $9.6 million pad conveniently hidden behind an LLC like it’s a witness protection program for rich people.

The Porsche Design Tower is the place to be if you’re a billionaire who wants to park your Bugatti inside your living room (thanks to those famous car elevators). Past and present neighbors include soccer legend Lionel Messi, Colombian pop star Maluma, and—because Florida—the daughter of an alleged Bonanno crime family associate.

The Church of “Wait, What?”

While Macedo’s church claims it doesn’t offer financial aid, it does sell “Blessed Water” on its 24/7 livestream, promising to cure everything from depression to cancer. (Side note: If it actually cured cancer, wouldn’t that be front-page news and not just a late-night infomercial?)

Oh, and the church also owns four private jets and a helicopter because nothing says “humble servant of God” like a fleet of Gulfstreams.

Legal Troubles? More Like Legal Blessings

Macedo’s empire has faced its fair share of alleged financial shenanigans, including a 2008 money laundering case in Brazil involving a casual $2 billion. (Prosecutors claimed fake companies were used to shuffle cash like a divine shell game.) Shockingly, he walked away unscathed—some might call it a miracle.

Why the Price Cut?

Maybe Macedo realized even billionaires balk at $12,069 monthly HOA fees. Or maybe he’s just making room for his next holy acquisition—a private island, perhaps?

Either way, if you’ve got $14.6 million burning a hole in your pocket and a deep love of car elevators, this condo could be your divine intervention. Just don’t forget to stock up on that Blessed Water—you’ll need it after seeing the property taxes.
