Hurricanes? Flooding? Again? This Florida Man said, “Hold my beer—actually, no, I need that. Just watch this.”

After Hurricane Milton decided to turn his home into an indoor swimming pool (for the third time in two years), one legend of the Sunshine State said, “You know what? If you can’t beat ‘em, ride a jet ski through your living room.”

The Video That Sums Up Florida Resilience (Or Insanity?)

In a now-viral Facebook clip titled “How True Floridians Do It,” our hero wades through waist-deep water—past his floating furniture, ruined drywall, and probably a confused fish or two—to hop on his trusty jet ski.

NSFW Warning: There’s some colorful language. But honestly, if your house floods three times, you’re allowed to drop an F-bomb. Or twelve.

The Ride of Shame (Or Glory?)

With the grace of a man who has officially given up on drywall, he revs the engine and zooms through what used to be his living room. Bonus points for avoiding the floating couch like it’s a traffic cone in a Jet Ski obstacle course.

Meanwhile, in the background: stacks of construction materials from the last time his house got wrecked. Because nothing says “Florida rebuilding process” like a never-ending cycle of “Oops, all hurricanes!”

The Silver Lining?

At least the jet ski survived. Priorities, people.

Meanwhile, in Fort Myers…

While this guy was turning his house into a water park, tornadoes from Milton were busy ripping roofs off other homes. One resident, Robert Haight, had just replaced his roof after Hurricane Ian. Now? Back to square one.

Moral of the story? If you live in Florida, maybe invest in a houseboat. Or at least a really good jet ski.
