Ah, Florida—where love is in the air, and so are ski masks and bad decisions.

Meet Amandalee Kasilowski, 29, and Iain Cade-Alamin Petrie, 25, the latest Florida duo to redefine the term “romantic getaway.” According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, these two lovebirds (or should we say crimebirds?) decided to spice up their relationship by robbing a guy at a hotel near Kissimmee.

Here’s how it went down:

  1. The Meet-Cute (But Make It Sketchy) – The victim, who we’ll call “Too Trusting Tim,” met Kasilowski online. She went by “Amber”—because nothing says “I’m totally legit” like a fake name. They had “an enjoyable evening” (wink, wink), then headed back to his room at the Red Lion Hotel.

  2. The Plot Twist (AKA The Robbery) – Just when Tim thought things were going great, Kasilowski opened the door to let in Petrie, who was rocking the “mysterious ski mask” look. Because nothing says “romantic ambiance” like a dude lurking in the shadows with his hands near his waistband, implying he totally had a weapon.

  3. The Wallet Heist (And the PIN Debacle) – While Petrie played “scary silent partner,” Kasilowski swiped Tim’s wallet, keys, and phone. Then, in a move straight out of a bad crime movie, she asked for his PIN. And—plot twist—he gave it to her. Because Florida.

  4. The Walk of Shame (But With Stolen Cash) – After making off with $2,180, Kasilowski actually returned Tim’s stuff (how polite!) before vanishing into the night with her masked accomplice.

The Aftermath:

  • Kasilowski was arrested on charges including unarmed home invasion, kidnapping, robbery, and credit card fraud.
  • Petrie was also busted for unarmed home invasion, kidnapping, and robbery.

Moral of the Story?
If your date insists on bringing a “friend” who looks like a budget bank robber, maybe just… don’t.
