Hollywood, Florida—where the sun is hot, the drama is hotter, and apparently, Uber rides come with a side of armed confrontation.
This week, rapper Krissy Celess (aka Bomb A Krissy) hopped into what she thought was a routine Uber ride. Spoiler: It was not routine. Instead, it turned into a scene straight out of Grand Theft Auto: Florida Edition.
How It All Went Down
Krissy, being a responsible passenger, tried to help her driver with directions—because, you know, sometimes GPS is just wrong. But instead of a polite “Thanks!”, the driver hit her with the “I have GPS for a reason” energy.
Things escalated faster than a Florida thunderstorm.
Krissy: “Hey, the turn is right here—”
Driver: “I DON’T NEED YOUR BACKSEAT DRIVING!” (allegedly)
Next thing we know, the driver flips open the center console like she’s in a John Wick movie and—BAM—gun in hand.
The Viral Moment
Krissy, being a modern-day hero, whipped out her phone and started recording. The driver, now fully in Florida Woman mode, screamed:
“GET OUT OF MY VEHICLE RIGHT NOW!”
Meanwhile, the 911 operator on the phone sounded like they were regretting their life choices:
“Ma’am, what’s your address?”
Driver: “SHE WON’T GET OUT!”
Krissy (calmly): “She just pulled a gun on us.”
The driver then aimed the gun at Krissy and her friend like this was an action movie audition. Krissy, unfazed, backed out slowly and snapped a pic of the license plate, dropping the ultimate clapback:
“Don’t worry, you’re going to go viral.”
The Aftermath
Uber immediately yeeted the driver off the app (because pointing guns at passengers is frowned upon). Meanwhile, Krissy’s video blew up, racking up over 74K views and counting.
Her only thought during the ordeal? Her 4-year-old son. Because nothing says “Florida parenting” like surviving a potential shootout before naptime.
The Legal Side
Krissy’s lawyer called the driver’s reaction “extremely excessive.” (Understatement of the year.) Now, they’re considering legal action against Uber, because aggravated assault isn’t exactly listed in the ride-share terms of service.
Moral of the Story
Next time you’re in Florida, maybe just… walk. Or bring a flak jacket. Either way, stay recording.
(Uber has since removed the driver from the platform. No arrests have been made—yet.)
